My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Already eyeing my next order.
Finally got around to ordering this. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. A keeper.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. One of my better finds this year.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Would buy from this store again.
Needed this for my research. You can tell why this work has endured. Five stars from me.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
