My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. One of my better finds this year.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. A text you study rather than simply read. The historical context alone makes it worth the price.
My book club chose this last month. You can tell why this work has endured. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Great value for what you get.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
