My book club chose this last month. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. You can tell why this work has endured. The font runs small in the appendices.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Good, with the caveats above.
First purchase from this shop. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
This edition finally does the material justice. It's become a regular reference in my practice. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Already eyeing my next order.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. It assumes more background than a beginner might have.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. A keeper.
