My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them.
Added this to my reference shelf. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Definitely recommend.
I keep coming back to this one. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Five stars from me.
