This exceeded my expectations. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Highly recommend to serious students.
This edition finally does the material justice. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
