My book club chose this last month. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Five stars from me.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Was skeptical at first. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes.
