Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The font runs small in the appendices. Good, with the caveats above.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
My book club chose this last month. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Good, with the caveats above.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Well worth it.
This edition finally does the material justice. A text you study rather than simply read. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. One of my better finds this year.
